Week 1 - Flow States

Steven Kotler is an 8x best selling author including the Rise of Superman and the Executive Director at the Flow Research Collective. He is one of the world’s leading experts on high performance and has had two books nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. 

Just after releasing his recent best seller “The Art of Impossible” Kotler leads us out in identifying the mindset and motivation it takes to live in Flow State—defined as “an optimal state of consciousness.” His focus for this course will be on defining for us locus of control and proper goal setting. Then in week four he’ll return again to help us understand the science of making our biology work for us and why it matters. Week 2 - Body Maintentance

Leading mobility expert Dr. Kelly Starrett from his best-New York Times selling book, The Supple Leopard will guide us toward the best season of our lives. Kelly is a movement and mobility coach for players in the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA, Olympic gold medalists and the creator of the Ready State. 

The program Kelly has created specifically for our workshop participants will account for chronic injuries common to mountain people and leave us with the perfect spin up to start and finish a day of shredding. In the workshop we will put to practice the simple mobility routine every multisport athlete needs to relieve pain, prevent injury and optimize our time in the mountains. Week 3 - Nutrition

This week we will debug myths and explore the nutrition and supplementation usually reserved for professional athletes. In the workshop we will practice some of the US ski teams go to recipes to keep you and your family healthy and in optimal states of being. 

 

Week 4 - More on Flow States

We’ll begin the week on the podcast with insights from Dr. Sarah Sarkis from the flow research collective who has studied extensively in mindfulness, functional medicine, food,  hormones, and positive psychology can be optimized for human potential. 

Then in the workshop we will continue to dig into Flow States to defining flow triggers, flow blockers and we’ll leave you with deliberate exercises to apply these techniques to life and beyond. 

With Steven Kotler’s help, we will be able to work toward peak performance.

Week 5 - Flow Motion

Week 6 - Breathwork

This week we dig into one of the most essential and aspects of life. No matter what you eat, how much you exercise, how fit or young or wise you are, none of it matters if you’re not breathing properly.

There is nothing more essential to our health and well-being than the breath and this week were all about it

Modern research is showing us that making even slight adjustments to the way we inhale and exhale can jump-start athletic performance; rejuvenate internal organs; halt snoring, asthma, and autoimmune disease; and even straighten scoliotic spines. None of this should be possible, and yet it is. Way to show up. Here you’re going to learn to make your breath work for you.
